Clipper Cargo began back in 1981 in philatelics, named after the Trans-Atlantic clipper ships and planes that took mail all over the world, but in the last 43 years we have become so much more!

Judy, with the help of her husband Ted, started Clipper Cargo with two core values in mind- honesty and integrity. In what we buy and sell, we work with full transparency so that you know everything that we know. When you sell we want you to get the most money you can for what you have, and we want you to know exactly what you have before you sell it. When you buy, we have a rule- if we wouldn’t buy it, we won’t sell it to you! That ensures that only the most high quality items go into stock.

If you were to ask Ted and Judy, they would both agree that we are not here to make money. We are here to provide a service for our community and to keep history alive. As a women owned and operated business (and also Ted!) our biggest goal is women’s economic security, ensuring that no one is taken advantage of. We hear customers tell us all the time when they come in, looking about in wonder, “Wow! How did I not know about this place?”. With prices starting as low as $3, there is something for everyone here!
